Seventh Grade Parent Evening

The class:
The happy murmur is wonderful.
The students are growing up.
The block was talked about and some work was shared.
Relationships:
Boys and girls have interest in each other and parents feel a sense of trust in their children.
The parents can communicate with each other (and Ms. Melcher) if they are aware of a big situation.
The kids seem to be making good decisions.
They value each other as part of the whole group.
Ms. Melcher will share in a student class meeting that what came out of the conversation is that they are seen as valuing one another in a respectful and familial way, they are trusted by the adults around them, and that they are trusted to talk to an adult if the need arises.
Business:
PA- new chair and co-chair.
Board- Annual Fund- currently matching pledge by the board if raised by Thanksgiving. Even the smallest amount helps. Raised $2800 so far… board goes up to $3500.
Winter Faire- Every family please sign up for a shift either setting up or taking down the Cookie Kingdom (sign up in the middle school) or a shift taking tickets or helping in the Cookie Kingdom (sign up in Prairie Hall).

Fun Run- March 17
